CLYDE – The Village of Clyde has approved a development permit for a fenced, off leash dog park for community use and is hoping to break ground later this summer.

When holding public engagement for their Municipal Development Plan, the village had heard from several residents that they would like to see a dog park, said Jaye Parrent, development officer for the Village of Clyde.

“It’s a good space for people to take their dogs and let them run.”

Council earmarked $30,000 for the dog park, said Parrent.

The appeal period is over at the end of July.

The park would be located on a piece of land along 44 Street between 48 and 47 Avenue.
