It is with profound sadness that the family of Linda Diane McKenzie, formerly of Athabasca, Alberta, announce her passing on March 15, 2022 at the age of 71 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim MacLean, daughter Shauna Leitner (Jan Godfrey); grandchildren Chase (Stephanie) Leitner, Shay-Briann Leitner, Courtney McKenzie and Dylan McKenzie; great-grandchildren Skyler Leitner, Logan Leitner, and Grayson Leitner.Mother-in-law Agnes MacLean; siblings Colleen (Gordon) Ukytil, Brian McKenzie, Barb McKenzie and Roxie McKenzie. Sister-in-laws Fran McKenzie and Julie MacLean; brother-in-law Ron Maclean. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Linda was predeceased by her parents John and Wilma McKenzie, son Lorne McKenzie and her brothers John and Gary McKenzie.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Athabasca Missionary Church 4008 – 50 Avenue, Athabasca, Alberta. Viewing took place one hour prior. Reverend Lyle Lewis officiated. Interment took place in the Athabasca Cemetery, Athabasca, Alberta.
