Lois had a passion for baking cookies, banana bread, and her renowned Eatmore bars. She will be fondly remembered around the lunch table and at coffee gatherings, where everyone eagerly anticipated Grandma Lois’s cookies. She cherished daily coffee visits with friends, weekly meet-ups at A&W, and playing cards- a highlight of her life- whether at home, in the hospital, or at the lodge. The family is forever grateful to the group of ladies who brought laughter, stories, and happiness to Lois during these times.

Lois was an active community member, even after moving to town, Lois was involved with the Moose Wallow community, Mystery Lake Ladies Group, and TOPS.

Lois was a truly special, kind, and gentle person who always made time for her family. She looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and ensured they left with a batch of their favorite fresh cookies. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life.

The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Tawfik, the nursing staff at Barrhead Health Centre, and the staff of Hillcrest Lodge for their care and compassion.

In accordance with her wishes, Lois has been cremated, and there will not be a formal funeral. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
