It is with sad hearts and wonderful memories that we the family of the Late Mr. George James Jamieson announce his passing on February 4, 2021 at the age of 82 years.
George is survived by his loving family, spouse, Lynn Cramer; children, Elaine (Ronald) Schmidt, Rodney (Rachel) Jamieson & Brenda Bielert; grandchildren, Kolton (Katy) Schmidt, Taylor (Hunter) Schmidt, Levi Schmidt, Joel (Nadine) Jamieson, Michael (Baylee) Jamieson, Josh Jamieson, Ty Sheppard & Paige Sheppard; great grandchildren, Kane Jamieson & Lilah Jamieson; step children, Shelly (Todd) Koehler, Robin (Dawn) Cramer, Tammy Cramer & Tina (Jim) Cramer; step grandchildren, Dylan (Elisha), Chelsey (Jordan), Devin (Burgundy), Jayden, Keara & Laura; step great grandchildren, Liam, Waylon & Colson; siblings, Jean (Tom) Meunier, Irene (Don) Hove, Stanley (Sherry) Jamieson & Wayne Jamieson; as well as many other family and many dear friends.
George is predeceased by his parents, Lena & James Jamieson.
George’s life style was working 16 hour days, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. His motto you work hard, play hard, celebrate the wins, and endure the losses. George participated in farming activities right up till he was unable to manage the work load. At that time his body told him “no more “much to his dislike.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Barrhead Health Care & Keir Care Center for their care and compassion shown to George. The family would also like to special thanks to Dr Bernes & Dr Tawfik for the great care they showed their father & grandfather. Memorial Donations may be made in George’s name to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
A private family celebration of life will be held at the Rose Garden Chapel Wednesday February 17, 2021 due to Covid. Later in the year a celebration of life for George will be held for all friends and family.
