Ryan Robert Grasby
It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of my husband, Ryan Robert Grasby, age 39. Ryan was born June 17, 1985 in Thunder Bay, Ontario and passed away on Dec 19, 2024 in Sherwood Park, AB. Ryan was the middle child of Robert and Nancy Grasby, brother to Allison and Meghan, uncle to Kallie, Kayden and Isabella.
Ryan grew up in Athabasca, AB and graduated from Edwin Parr Composite High School in 2003. Ryan and I met in high school and shortly after began our almost 20 year long relationship. Ryan graduated from the Multimedia Production course from Lethbridge Community College in 2010. After several successful jobs, Ryan took an amazing opportunity at Athabasca University where he had worked for over 8 years. Ryan was exceptionally talented at his job and excelled at everything he did. Ryan will be remembered for his love of Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and his favorite truck “Christina.”
A private celebration of life will be held in his honor. For those wishing to express their sympathy and pay tribute, do so by making a donation to a cause that was close to Ryan’s heart, Movember and raising awareness for Mental Health. I truly hope that one day I will see my husband “On the other side,” your wife forever and always Michelle.
