WESTLOCK COUNTY – Christine Wiese, who was re-elected as reeve of Westlock County, expressed her appreciation for the continued trust and confidence shown by council. She is eager to build on past successes and focus on key priorities for the county’s future growth and development.
Wiese noted that council has worked collaboratively toward shared goals for Westlock County.
“Our council has worked together with a shared vision for Westlock County’s growth and well-being, addressing both immediate needs and long-term goals, our council has worked together, each bringing in a diverse background and strengths, we’ve celebrated milestones and tackled challenges, and I’m proud of the steps we’ve taken toward making Westlock County a place where residents and businesses can thrive.”
Looking ahead, Wiese outlined several key priorities for the final year of her term in office, including strengthening the county’s infrastructure, enhancing municipal services, and building a welcoming municipality for business growth.
“I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my fellow councillors for their continued trust in me to serve as reeve for Westlock County this final year of my term. It’s a role I hold with great respect and dedication, and I’m deeply honoured to continue representing our community in this capacity.”
Wiese also emphasized the importance of community engagement, inviting residents to stay connected with council and share their feedback.
