July 20 is the Jarvie Family Fun Day hosted at the Jarvie Community Center just north of Westlock.
“There is so much to enjoy whether you have a large family, or you are interested in getting together with some new and old faces for some laughs and a good time,” shared Sharon Bignell, one of the organizers.
The day is full packed with activities for the whole family. Everything gets started at 10 am with tons of games and activities for the kids including bouncy castles.
A casual car show will attractive the crowd looking to enjoy some of the vehicle treasures that will be shown off.
Ever wanted to try Pickleball or floor curling without committing to joining a team?
The Family Fun Day has that chance available for you.
Pickleball demos and try-outs will be held from 10 am to noon and floor curling will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm.
All kinds of people play both sports, including seniors, and everyone has a great time so come out and see what all the fuss is about.
The amazing concession food will be ready when you are with a summer days menu of burgers, hotdogs, potato salad and an assortment of snacks like chips, ice cream and pop.
The beer garden tents welcome adults looking for a drink, a chat, meet a few new people and enjoy the weather.
Horseshoes will be happening outside with a cast of novices and experienced players all in it for a good time.
Pool tables are available for those interested in a game. Vendors will be set up outside to peak your shopping interests.
Crafts will be done inside including squeegee painting.
