Geraldine “Gerry” Frances Grabher
August 17, 1936 – August 23, 2024
It is with great sadness that we share our mom, Gerry (Geraldine Frances) Grabher, passed peacefully in her sleep on August 23, 2024, to join the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Chesney Grabher, who predeceased her on September 1, 2015.
Gerry leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched countless friends and family who will miss her deeply. She is now at peace - free from a lengthy illness.
She leaves behind her daughters; Wendy Pruden, Debra (Tom) Humeny, grandchildren; Pamela (Nick) Lacroix, Jody (Jessie) Whitehead, Haley (Colin) Colbourne, and Willam Humeny, great-grandchildren; Abigail and Titus Lacroix, Alexander MacKay, and numerous, much loved, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings; Patricia (Terrance) Dodd, Anne (George) Thompson, George (Rita) Shepherd, and Ted (Alice) Shepherd.
Special thanks for the loving care she received from all the staff at the Smithfield Lodge and Westlock Continuing Care, all of whom are angels on earth full of love, kindness, and dedicated service to others.
Gerry was cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
