He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Hattie; children Edward Eherer C.SsR., Janet (George) Stewart, Laurie (Doug) McKay; 12 grandchildren - Rory, Andrew, Alexander, RaeAnne, Jesse, Joel, Heather, Shea, Erin, Caitlin, Brodie and Ross; 18 great-grandchildren - Sloane, Ronan, Caleb, Ashton, Sawyer, Dawson, Paisley, Austen, Kaeden, Atley, Greyson, Ainsley, Ben, Jason, Eli, Hannah, Hallie, and Jacob; son-in-law Ron Fehr and daughter-in-law Terry Eherer; sister Barbara (Craig) Waters.
Raymond was predeceased by his daughter Bridget Fehr and son Gerry Eherer; his parents Joe and Annie Eherer, and his brother Joe Eherer Jr.
A vigil will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at Athabasca Community. Chapel with viewing at 6:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30, October 9 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Eherer presiding. Interment will follow at Athabasca Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Athabasca Healthcare Auxiliary Association or to a charity of your choice.
