Barrhead Steelers opened the North Eastern Alberta Hockey League season defeated the CR Knights 3-1 in their home opener at the Agrena on
Friday Oct. 11. Scoring for Barrhead was Tanner Harrison, assisted by Brock Beauliua, Cohen Fisher, assisted by Kruze Hiemstra, and Hiemstra assisted by Beauliua. Starting in net was William Bain who stopped 24 of 25 shots for the win.
