BOYLE – The Boyle Healthcare Centre will be without an on-site physician for three hours this evening after AHS was unable to secure coverage.
Starting at 5 p.m., nurses will be on site providing triage and assessments/referrals to alternate emergency departments in surrounding communities.
Patients are asked to call 9-1-1 if they have a medical emergency, and EMS will remain in the community and work with the hospital to ensure residents have continued access to healthcare.
For non-emergency situations, call 8-1-1 for health related questions.
The Boyle Healthcare Centre remains closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m..
