WESTLOCK - A semi was reported to be sideways across the southbound lane on Highway 44 near the Busby turnoff, according to social media posts.
The photos of the incident were posted online with people commenting that the a tow truck was on scene and both lanes of Highway 44 were shut down south of 651 turnoff.
At approximately 8:30 Friday morning, Westlock RCMP responded to a semi in the ditch and partially blocking the road on Highway 44 near Busby, confirmed Troy Savinkoff, RCMP media relations.
The semi has been pulled from the ditch and the scene cleared, said Westlock RCMP S/Sgt Jeff Sehn.
