WESTLOCK – RF Staples High School teacher Jessica Stevens has been recognized with the Exemplary Teacher Award, an honour given by the Pembina Hills School Division to educators who go above and beyond for their students and school communities.
Stevens, a junior math and electives teacher, was nominated by a student and celebrated during a recognition event at the school on March 12.
Her nomination described her as an educator who inspires a passion for lifelong learning, not just in her students but throughout the entire school.
“A teacher that ignites passion to lifelong learning, not just for her students but for the entire school community—this is the essence of Jessica Stevens,” read a portion of the nomination.
