RCMP search for missing life saving equipment

RCMP are asking residents to keep an eye out for missing equipment stolen on Saturday.

Essential life saving equipment was stolen from a High Level Fire Department Vehicle in Westlock. The vehicle was parked outside of the Ramada Inn on 100 street between midnight and 6:00 a.m on April 26.  Dozens of firefighters were in town for safety training sessions when the incident occurred. 

The items that were taken are as follows: 

- 2 pairs of Hanway hiking boots

- 2 red Milwaukee helmets with earmuffs and mesh visors

- 2 Kenwood radio mics

- 2 red Nomex shirts with name tags and WUI patches on the shoulders

- 2 kestrel 3000 weather devices
