Dozens of emergency vehicles from across the region are responding to a call at the Westlock Meditation Centre after a large tent collapsed.
STARS air ambulance has also been dispatched to the scene.

The meditation centre, which is located about 20 kilometres south of Westlock, was starting an 11 day meditation retreat, which was slated to run from Aug. 1 to Aug. 11.
The RCMP are closing the road near the Meditation Centre on Township Road 580 and Range Road 270.
Emergency responders from across the region, including Pickardville, Westlock, Busby and St. Albert are on the scene assisting.
We are aware of an event in the Westlock area where a tent has collapsed and has required multiple EMS and first responders.

There is limited information at this time but Alberta’s government is there to support our first responders during this difficult situation.
