Recruitment for Volunteer Committee
Westlock County is accepting applications from interested individuals who are County residents and/or
business owners for present and future vacancies on the following volunteer committee, representing the
public-at-large:

Council Compensation As required, beginning Fall 2024
Review Committee through June 2025
As per County Policy 1900-004 – Council Remuneration & Expenses, in the fourth year of a sitting Council’s
term of office, a Council Compensation Review Committee (CCRC) will be commissioned to undertake
a comprehensive Council compensation review, with a report, generated by a duly-qualified third-party
consultant, being presented to Council by the CCRC no later than May 1st of an election year.
The CCRC is to be comprised of three (3) members of the public, all of whom must be a County resident and/or
a County business owner, and none of whom can be sitting members of Council. Members of the Committee
will be appointed by Council in accordance with Westlock County Policy #1900-003 – Board, Committee,
Commission Appointments and Committee members shall be compensated as per the County’s Policy
#1202-001 – Per Diem and Expense Reimbursement.
Application forms and the CCRC Terms of Reference can be accessed on the County’s website, or in
person at the Westlock County Municipal Office, located at 10336-106 Street, Westlock, Alberta, from
8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. If additional information is required, please call the
