Notice is hereby given that, under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, the County of Barrhead No. 11 will offer for sale, by public auction, at the County Office, 5306-49 Street, in Barrhead, Alberta, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 2:00PM, the following parcels of land:

Note: Any parcel may be removed from tax sale
at any time before public auction if all arrears are
paid in full.
Terms & Conditions of Sale:
• Parcel of land will be offered for sale subject to a reserve bid and to the reservations and
conditions contained in the existing certificate of title.
• Land is being offered for sale on an “as is, where is” basis and the County of Barrhead
No. 11 makes no representation and gives no warranty whatsoever as to the adequacy of
services, soil conditions, land use districting, building and development conditions, absence or presence of environmental contamination, or the developability of the subject land for any intended use by the purchaser.
• Once the property is declared sold at the public auction, the previous owner has no
further right to pay the tax arrears.
• Purchaser shall be required to execute a sale agreement in the form and substance provided by the County of Barrhead.
• Successful purchaser shall, at the time of sale, make payment in Cash, Certified Cheque or Bank Draft payable to the County of Barrhead as follows:
- The full purchase price; or
- A 10% non-refundable deposit and the balance of the purchase price must be
paid within 14 business days of the sale.
• GST will be collected on all properties subject to GST
• Risk of the property lies with the purchaser immediately following the auction.
• County of Barrhead may, after the public auction, become the owner of any parcel of
land that is not sold at the public auction.
