Notice of Public Hearings As per the Municipal Government Act, Village Council is required to hold a public hearing as part of the process to approve or amend a land use bylaw or other statutory plans. The purpose is to receive comments on or related to the proposed Land Use Bylaw. All hearings are open to the general public. Your attendance is encouraged as they are an opportunity to let Village Council know your views. You are encouraged to submit your comments in writing to Planning & Development prior to the hearing. Written submissions which have been received before the designated meeting time will be included in the report for the Public Hearing. SCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED BYLAWS 12-24 Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers Bylaw No. 12-24 proposes to amend Land Use Bylaw 04-23 Bylaw and Additional Information Village of Boyle Land Use Bylaw Amendment 12-24 • That Lots 9 to 11 Block 7 Plan 6626BF – 5005 3rd St, as shown on the attached map, outlined in green, be rezoned from its current designation of I-Institutional to C1-Commercial A Public Hearing regarding the proposed bylaw will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at the Village Office (4800 3rd St South). The style of the hearing will be structured and person(s) wishing to speak will be requested to sign in and state their name and address for the record upon being recognized by the Chair. Council will hear submissions made in person or by the agent from any person who claims to be affected by the proposed bylaw. Any person wishing to submit written comments may do so by sending them to the Village of Boyle, at the address below. Comments received prior to 4:00 p.m. on December 17, 2024, will be included in the staff report to Council and comments received after will be read at the public hearing. Persons may make oral presentations at the Council meeting, regardless of whether or not they have provided written comments.
