Public Hearing For Bylaws 008-2024 & 009-2024 In accordance with the requirements of Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, as amended, the Council of Athabasca County has scheduled Public Hearings for June 11, 2024. THE PUBLIC HEARINGS ARE BEING HELD TO ALLOW PUBLIC INPUT ON THE FOLLOWING BYLAWS: Bylaw 008-2024 – The proposed bylaw amends Land Use Bylaw 004-2019 as follows (starting at 9:30 a.m.): The Land Use District Map is hereby amended by changing portions of the SW 35-71-17 W4M from Heavy Industrial (M2) District to Agriculture (A) District. Bylaw 009-2024 – The proposed bylaw amends Land Use Bylaw 004-2019 as follows (starting at 9:40 a.m.): The Land Use District Map is hereby amended by changing portions of the WSE 35-71-17 W4M from Heavy Industrial (M2) District to Agriculture (A) District. Property Tax Notices Mailed May 31st

Pursuant to Section 311 and Section 336 of the Municipal Government Act, the 2024 Combined Assessment and Property Tax Notices for Athabasca County were mailed on May 31, 2024. All assessed persons are deemed, because of the publication of this notification, to have received their assessment notices. The Assessment Roll is open for review by any person during regular business hours at the Administration Office, located at 3602-48th Avenue, Athabasca. Property taxes are due on July 31, 2024. To obtain additional information with respect to taxation, please direct inquiries to the Athabasca County Tax and Assessment Officer at 780-675-6627
