Notice of Public Hearing In accordance with the requirements of Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act (MGA), as amended, County of Barrhead Council has scheduled a Public Hearing regarding the proposed adoption of the following bylaw: Bylaw 9-2024 — Road Closure Bylaw Date & Time: 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 Location: County of Barrhead Council Chambers, 5306-49 St, Barrhead, Alberta. As permitted by section 22 of the MGA, Administration is proposing: Road Closure Bylaw to close an undeveloped road allowance west of SW-34-61-5-W5, and consolidate it with the neighbouring parcel of land. The undeveloped road allowance is located between two gravel extraction parcels which would render the road allowance unusable. Hearing Procedure Written and verbal presentations may be made to County Council at the public hearing. Individuals wishing to make verbal or written presentations during the public hearing are requested to provide advance notice to the County of Barrhead.
