John Charles Vobeyda

John Charles Vobeyda passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the age of 86 years.
John is survived by his wife of 63 years and 10 months, Orriel Vobeyda (nee Olson); 2 daughters, Trudi (Todd) Marsh and Jodi (Terry) DeAlexandra; 1 granddaughter, Maya DeAlexandra; 3 grandsons, Brandon (Halley) Marsh, Bryce Marsh and Kane DeAlexandra; 1 sister, Anna Carty; brothers in-law, John Osadchuk, Floyd (Irene) Olson, Hartley Olson (Honor Bales), Wald (Lavone) Olson, Wendell (Trudy) Olson and Quentin (Teresa) Olson; sisters in-law, Avis Erickson and Ruby (Lorne) Schmaus; also numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
John was predeceased by father, Frank Vobeyda in 1964; mother, Mary Vobeyda (nee Stepaniuk) in 1989; brother, Jim Vobeyda in 2008; sister, Ida Osadchuk in 2011; brother in-law, Jack Carty in 2004 and sister in-law Eleanor Vobeyda (nee Woywitka) in 2011.
Celebration of John’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM from Barrhead Seniors Center.
Private family Interment has taken place at Topland Cemetery.
Memorial Donations in John’s memory maybe given to Canadian Diabetes Association or Topland Cemetery.
