Gerald (Jerry) Leon Urlacher
March 7, 1940 - June 17, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald (Jerry) Urlacher announce his passing on June 17, 2024, at the age of 84.
Jerry is survived by his darling wife, Myrna and daughters Cheryl (Phil) Lefebvre and Dana (Greg) Schmidt.
He is deeply loved and will be missed by his grandchildren Briana (Michael) Gravel, Daniel (Natasha) Lefebvre,Nolan (Sierra) Schmidt and Nathan (Kristin) Schmidt. As well as 8 great grandchildren Brooke, Taylor, Parker, Bentley, Kinsley, Oliver, Dallas and Miller. Jerry had 1 great-great grandson Banner.
Jerry will also be missed by his siblings Betty Guntrip, Donald Urlacher (Alberta) and Shirley Blaeser.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents Anna and Leo Urlacher, and his brothers-in-law Richard Guntrip and Larry Blaeser.
Jerry was a kind and gentle man who always had time for a chat, a giggle, a grandpa joke and a hearty handshake.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rose Garden Chapel on June 26 at 1:00 pm. A private inurnment will be held for the family.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the care and compassion of Dr. Bernes and the nursing staff at Barrhead Healthcare Centre.
