Gerald Tanski
It is with great sadness and much love that the family of Gerald Tanski announces his passing on December 26th, 2024 at the age of 95.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Fran, son Terry (Corrine), grandson Jeffrey (Gillian), grandson Scott (Michelle), granddaughter Vanessa and great grandchildren Isabelle, Rylee and Isla.
He is also survived by his sister Trudy (Dalton) Trenholm, sister Ruth Lindstrom and 6 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Duane, brother Ginty, brother Herbert, sister Ilse (Charlie) Croswell, brother-in-law Lawrence Lindstrom and nephew Kenny Lindstrom.
Gerald’s funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 at 11:00 am at the church in Ellscott. A luncheon will be held at Ellscott Hall following the service. His internment (burial) at Boyle Municipal Cemetery will follow the luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerald’s name may be made to the STARS Air Ambulance (1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570 Calgary, AB T2E 8M7) or a charity of your choice.
