JOSEPH MORRISON SQUAIR
April 30, 1926 – July 27, 2024
“Morrie” Squair passed away peacefully at the Westlock Continuing Care Centre on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in his 98th year.
He is survived by one brother, Alastair. He was predeceased by his parents; William and Mary, and brothers; James, Kenneth, and Alex.
Morrie grew up on the family farm in the Westlock area, and attended Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB. He later moved to Edmonton to begin a career as a realtor and home builder for many years before retiring back to the farm.
He lived his life as a generous man - always willing to help. He was very active in the community as a member of the Vintage Tractor Club at the Canadian Tractor Museum and attending Toast Masters.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
A service will be held to celebrate Morrie’s life on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Westlock Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Tractor Museum in Morrie’s memory.
