John William O’Donnell
October 29, 1955 – April 5, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce John William O’Donnell, aged 69, passed away on April 5, 2025.
His life ended too soon – a life filled with many interests, passions, projects, and good friends. He was honest and hardworking – a kind and compassionate man always willing to lend a helping hand and to champion for the underdog.
He leaves behind many who mourn his passing.
He is survived by his sister, Joyce (Albert) Nadeau; brothers, Glen Fraser O’Donnell, and Terry (Sharon) O’Donnell; nieces and nephews; Dianna Gawryluk, Lawrence Nadeau, Kelti (Lee) Nyal, and Renda (Kevin) Zadunayski; and great nieces and nephews; Kestyn, Delaiya, Bohe, Ava, Jemma, Nixon, Kash, and Korbyn.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Margaret O’Donnell.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at the Westlock Funeral Home.
