Irene Sirant
It’s with heavy hearts that the family of Irene Sirant announce her passing April 22 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her children Debbie Moore (Lorne) and Doug (Louise). 4 Grandchildren Derek (Jill) Moore, Trent (Tenielle) Moore, Andrew Sirant, and Patricia Sirant. 5 Great grandchildren Shea, Kaiya, Foster, Paxton, and Halston Moore. 1 Brother Metro (Pam) Melnychuk, and Numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was predeceased by the love of her life Henry (2012), parents Nick and Haffie Melnychuk, sister Mary Tywoniuk and brother Terry Melnychuk.
Irene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She showed her love though her cooking and was forever standing over the stove or reading recipe books. Mom will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on April 29, 2025, from St. Anne’s Catholic Church Barrhead with Father Francis Khai Phan officiating.
Donations may be made to Barrhead Cancer Center or directly to a charity of ones choice.
