Calvin Clarence Ernst
Calvin Clarence Ernst was born on October 14, 1937, to Alex and Edna in Eastend, Saskatchewan. In 1948, the family moved to Barrhead, Alberta, when Clarence was about 12 years old.
Clarence is lovingly remembered by his wife, Phyllis; his son, Roger (Daylene); his stepsons, David (Marlene) and Donnie; his brothers, Eddie and Ernie; as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his son, Michael; his brother, Albert; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey, Ethel, Alice and Betty.
An avid outdoorsman, Clarence could often be found enjoying nature—whether fishing, hunting, farming, or caring for animals —and especially loved spending time doing these things with his family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to FCSS Barrhead, 5103–51st Street, Barrhead, AB T7N 1A5.
