SENKO, Shirley May
Mrs. Shirley May Senko of Shoal Creek, Alberta peacefully passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 82 years.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Senko, and her children Lori Jewett (Donald), Debbie Goertz (Les) and Martin Senko. Her grandchildren Sherena Hogan (Jeff), Shelanda McLeod (Mark), Kandie Senko (Chris), Brandon Senko (Carly), two step granddaughters, Cindy Stables (David) and Laura Peters (Albert), as well as 6 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
She leaves behind her brother Gordon Vandervaate (Margaret), sisters Frances Johnson (Wilfred) and Gladys Ward; one sister-in-law Edie Vandervaate, special cousin Gail Hawaleshka and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley was predeceased by her father John (1970) and mother, Joyce (2005); two brothers Donald (1959) and Bob (2013), brother-in-law, Keith Ward (1988), niece Michelle Vandervaate (1973) and nephew Shawn Johnson (2005).
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westlock Funeral Chapel. Cremation followed. Donations gratefully accepted to AHS Westlock Continuing Care Centre 10203 – 96 Street, Westlock, AB T7P 2R3.
