Doreen Ann Nutt
With heartfelt sorrow, the family of Doreen announce her peaceful passing on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of 89.
Doreen was born on February 28, 1936, at the University Hospital in Edmonton.
She was the beloved only child of Loretta and Edward Waters. Doreen was a loving mother to five children: Jim Nutt (Pierrette), Delphi (Mike) Stuber, Glenda (Rob) Forest, Angela Huff, and Michele Nutt. She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Doreen is predeceased by her husband, Pat (1987), her parents, Edward (1986) and Loretta (2002), her daughter-in-law, Brenda (2008), her great-granddaughter, Olivia (2012), her grandson, Vernie (2023) as well as many dear family and friends.
Her honesty, kindness and unyielding spirit touched everyone she met. Though we mourn her loss, we celebrate the rich legacy she leaves behind. She will be forever in our hearts.
Funeral Mass was held at St. Anne’s Parish, Barrhead, AB. on Monday April 14, 2025 at 11:00 am.
