March 6, 1947 – October 11, 2024
Gone fishin’
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Brian.
He is predeceased by his parents Leo and Ruth, his sister Karen, and brothers-in-law Gerry and Don.
Brian will be forever missed by his loving family: Myrna, wife of 57 years, son Darin and Carla, daughter Robyn and Terry, granddaughters Adaeze, Anika and Dallas, and his most treasured great-grandchildren Niko (7) and Willa (4).
Also mourning his loss are his siblings Allan (Lois), Dolores (Keith), Marilyn, Leonard (Brenda), Anita (David), and his many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Numerous friends enriched his life, especially Fish and Game members and his best buddy Dennis.
His love of the outdoors was evident by the countless hours he spent enjoying fishing, hunting, trapping and just being in the wilderness. He was a steward of the land, promoting wildlife and nature to others, especially children, and supporting the many events sponsored by the Fish and Game Association.
Brian was well known for his abundance of generosity, kindness and laughter. His big smile and even bigger heart will stay with us always.
Donations to Kidney Foundation of Canada are appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
