EDWARD REEDER
Edward James Reeder was born in Gull Lake, SK, on Oct. 6, 1956. He passed away at Stony Plain, AB, on March 5, 2025.
Ed loved to operate machines, starting at age 15 with the Sask Dept of Highways in Swift Current. He would run heavy equipment for the next 50 years. Probably would have still been working if the mine hadn’t closed and he had to retire.
Ed kept busy with his coffee buddies. Every morning and afternoon, one could find him at Tim Hortons.
He is survived by his son, Kyle Reeder, of Barrhead, his former wife, Penny, a very special aunt, Ilene Christensen, his two brothers, David Reeder, of Swift Current, SK, and Doug Harris, of Rich Vally, AB.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Nicole, in Dec. 2023, his father, David Reeder, and mother, Joyce Reeder, of Swift Current, SK.
There will be no funeral as was his wish. His urn will be placed at the Gull Lake Cemetery.
