Harry Proft
1939 - 2024
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Harry Proft announces his sudden passing on January 31, 2024 at the age of 84 years old.
He is survived by his loving family of 3 children, Lee (Rudy) Sudrich of Calgary, Wes (Nancy) Proft of Edmonton and Natalie (Steve) Carlson of Spruce Grove; grandchildren, Isabelle Proft and Dylan Carlson; brother, Fred (Jean) Proft; sisters, Addi Warehime, Rose (Ron) Wittmeier, Irene Yarham; sister-in-law, Edie (Bert) Proft as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. He has been predeceased by his wife of over 50 years Carol; his parents, Berthold and Gisela; brother, Bert and sister, Gisela Oswald.
Celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Rose Garden Chapel in Barrhead. Interment will follow at a later date for the immediate family. Pastor Roger Manuel officiating. Donations gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
