Dorothy Payne (nee Embury)
Mrs. Dorothy Payne, late of Abbotsford, B.C., formerly of Barrhead, passed away peacefully at the age of 101.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family including four children, Rick Payne (Joyce) of Sherwood Park, Wally (Carol) Payne of Edmonton, Judy (Bob) Lewis of Langley, B.C. and Fred (Debbie) Payne of Barrhead; five grandchildren, Leslie James of Delta, B.C., Rob Lewis of Squamish, B.C., David and Steven Payne of Barrhead, Richard (Sara) Payne of Westlock; and four great grandchildren, Braxden Lewis of Squamish, Aveah Payne of Barrhead, and Kyrie and Cooper Payne of Westlock, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Murray, her parents Frederick Burton Embury and Mabel Embury, two brothers Archer and Nelson (Marie), her dear sister Marge Weber (John) and her son-in-law Ross James.
A celebration of her life and sharing of memories will be held in Manitoba this fall.
