IRENE MOLZAN
Marie Irene Ross-Anna was born December 14, 1919, the second daughter of Napoleon and Valentine Poulin, in McCreary, Manitoba.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter Carol Bukowski and her son Kenneth Molzan (Joanne), her grandchildren Greg Barton (Mia) and Janice Henson (Trent), Lynelle Molzan (Cody Summerfeld) and Randy Molzan. Great Grandchildren Tyler and Darcy Henson and Olivia and April Summerfeld. Her very good friend Shelly Wilson. Her sisters Eileen, Doris, Laureen, and Velma and brother Ernest along with many, many Nieces and Nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Edward Molzan, her parents and Sisters Lucy, Cecile, Yvonne and brothers Oliver, Ernest, Aurele, Morris, and Laurence. Her goddaughter Anita and nephew Michael Mozan and niece Brenda Molzan. Her very good friends and in-laws Leonard and Edith Molzan and Natalia and Andrew Fott.
Irene was instrumental along with Ed in establishing a premier herd of Black Aberdeen Angus Cattle even being inducted into the Aberdeen Hall of Fame as a breed builder in 2014. She enjoyed many cattlemen friends throughout Canada, USA, and around the world.
The family would like to thank the Mayerthorpe Extended Care doctors, nurses and staff for their care of mom while she resided with them. Also special thanks to Herman Barkmeyer for getting mom wheel chairs and assistance though the Veterans Affairs and The Royal Canadian Legion.
A celebration of life will be held at the Barrhead Legion in the spring.
