She will be remembered for hosting innumerable delicious family dinners, her skill in sewing, crocheting, knitting and cross stitch. Mary spent many joyful hours in her garden as she happily harvested the fruits of her labour. We will always remember the two bountiful apple trees that graced the front yard of 12011-106 St.There can be too much of a good thing as Mary found out when Dad would bring boxes of apples from neighbouring yards for her to process. We looked forward to the delicious apple pies, apple kuchen, applesauce and everything apple. Nothing was ever wasted.

Grandma Mary never forgot a grandchild’s birth date and proudly celebrated their individual achievements.

We will miss her warm smile, her razor sharp mind, wisdom, encouraging words and thoughtfulness - no one ever left her home empty-handed. A courageous noble woman and trouper who faced her declining health with determination until the end. We will miss you, dear Mom and Grandma. Rest in peace until we meet again.
