It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Herrick. He was surrounded by his family at home as he lost his brave battle against cancer that he fought for 20 months.
Bill grew up, married Lois Freeman in 1964 and raised his family in Westlock. Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years Lois Herrick; son Kirk (Cindy) Herrick; daughter Kerri (Rob) Palumbi; grandchildren Kaleigh (Mike) Kneivel, William “Kirk” (Cayla) Herrick, Sydney Herrick (Louis) and Colman Herrick; great grandchildren Ella and Ben Kneivel, and Cameron Herrick; sisters Dorothy Griffiths and Doris Hopkins; and brother Jack Herrick. Bill was predeceased by his son Kevin Herrick, brother Lester Herrick and parents Ernest and Ivy (nee McKeag) Herrick.
To honour Bill's wishes, there will be no service. Instead a family gathering will be planned for summer 2025.
