Robert (Bob) J. Germann
June 18, 1933 – July 28, 2024
It is with sadness that Bob’s family announces his peaceful passing on Sunday, July 28, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Bob will be lovingly remembered and missed by his siblings Dan (Lorette), Esther Gallant, Allan (Sheila) and his sisters-in-laws, Nancy, and Velma Germann.
He is survived by 11 nephews, 6 nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He will also be missed by many good friends and members of the Westlock Elks. He was proud to be a part of this organization. We always knew what he was doing on Monday, setting up and working at the Bingo.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Fredrick and Frieda Germann, brothers Fred and Doug Germann, his sister Clara Eglin.
We would like to thank the family and friends who came to visit Bob during his 7 months in the hospital. We are grateful for the doctors and staff who cared for the home with kindness and patience. We also want to extend our appreciation to the staff and residents of the Pembina Lodge. Bob was happy living there and was very well cared for. Bob will be remembered as an independent man, who was quiet in nature a kind and caring man. Bob will be missed by many; may he rest in peace.
In respecting Bob’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Adult Day Program at the Westlock Continuing Care Centre, 10203 96 Street, Westlock, AB T7P 2R3
