Music was a large part of Loretta’s life whether it was listening to the radio, playing the guitar, playing the organ, dancing, singing, or even listening to 8-tracks in the tractor.

Loretta developed dementia in her mid-fifties and after struggling with some challenges at home, she spent the last 13 years at Keir Care, where she received exceptional care.

The family is very grateful to the staff at Keir Care for the caring and kindness that was given to their mom while she was there. A big thank-you to the recreation department lead by Bill Knudsen for their countless hours of activities that brightened Loretta’s days. The family is also grateful to the Barrhead Health Care Centre for the care and respect shown to Loretta in her final days.
