Barrhead Wine Survivor fundraiser hot ticket results

The Wine O'Clock Somewhere party was a huge success with lots of smiles and laughs and great prizes won

BARRHEAD – The Barrhead Library highly successful Wine Survivor fundraiser had ticket holders vying for wine collection prizes with the final draws held at a party event on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The Wine O’clock Somewhere evening sparkled with karaoke, spirits, conversations and shared connections.

“What a wonderful turn-out,” said Susan McLaren, library board member and one of the evening’s organizers.

Very special donated prizes were also drawn for during the evening’s festivities including two Edmonton Riverboat Queen dinners for a couple and a family.

Attendees were treated to karaoke singers, some danced to the hits played, enjoying the delicious food and bar set-up.

People were seated all over the library, sharing stories and laughs in between elimination draws, counting down to the last tickets included for the big draws.

The 125 available tickets were sold out and the final 10 winning numbers were declared.

The Wine Survivor fundraiser sells tickets from four weeks in advance to the night of the draws or until tickets are sold out.

There were three elimination draws prior to the Wine O’clock Somewhere party event where a portion of the purchased tickets are potentially eliminated from the final draws on Oct. 23.

There are different types of tickets that can be purchased, even an Ultimate Survivor category ticket where you can’t be eliminated early from any of the elimination rounds.

Participants enjoy every step of the fun with the several draws before the big night and the countdown to the final 10 winners.
