Barrhead High School students honoured with citizenship awards

Brielle Airey and Lotus Eisener were this year’s deserving Citizenship Award recipients

Two students from Barrhead Composite High School were honoured with Citizenship Awards presented by the Pembina Hills School Division.

Brielle Airey and Lotus Eisener were this year’s deserving recipients.

Airey has demonstrated herself as a giving, dedicated, responsible leader with the high school, her teachers, classmates and the Barrhead community while achieving academic excellence.

Her volunteerism within the school includes being an elementary tutor, planning school events, working with teams and finances.

Airey’s humanitarian drive has inspired her to organized food drives, participate in community projects and the Christmas shoebox program.

Airey’s upstanding characteristics in loyalty, diligence, reliability and generous spirit in helping others is inspirational.

Lotus Eisener serves as a shining example of responsibility, positivity, and compassion within both her school and community. 

Her unwavering dedication to academic excellence, athletic pursuits, and volunteer efforts reflects a deeply ingrained sense of duty and commitment.

Actively involved in church activities, school events, and local community projects, Eisener consistently goes above and beyond to support those around her.
