Woman arrested with lots of meth, cocaine, seeks drug treatment court

WESTLOCK – A woman arrested after police seized a large quantity of meth and cocaine is seeking to apply to Drug Treatment Court, Westlock Court of Justice heard Wednesday.

Drug Treatment Court aims to break the cycle of criminal behaviour that is driven by drug addiction and gives non-violent offenders a chance to avoid prison and complete a drug treatment program.

Wolfe was arrested in March after Westlock RCMP identified activities consistent with drug trafficking and obtained a search warrant for a Westlock home.

During the search, officers found 84.85 grams of meth, 7.64 grams of cocaine,15 grams of marijuana, 0.5 grams of morphine, 4.35 grams of psilocybin, 13 Lorazepam tablets, and several bottles of GHB. They also seized $2,517 in cash and two cartons of contraband cigarettes. 

Wolfe faces five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of unstamped tobacco.
