WESTLOCK – Town of Westlock volunteer firefighter Brad Watson got in the bucket of Tower One and was lifted in the air where he stayed on Sunday in the bitter cold until 1,000 pounds of food was collected or $1,000.
Late Sunday afternoon the total raised was 1,067.6 pounds of food donations and $1,368 cash for the one day. The total raised in the fundraiser was 4,902 pounds of food and $2,845 cash.
Town of Westlock, Picadville Volunteer Fire Dpeartment and County of Westlock firefighters have been collecting donations for the Westlock Foodbank as well as the Coats for Kids and Families program by Westlock and District FCSS.
