To the Editor:
I agree 100 per cent with Les Dunford in his Feb. 20 letter to the Town & County This Week.
I also believe that today’s reporters should take lessons from Les Dunford.
I also agree with Scott Moe and Premier Danielle Smith on their parenting law.
The courts in Saskatchewan said it is what is best for the children.
Parents love their children clothe them, guide and nurture them and try to teach them right from wrong. Teachers are supposed to teach them schoolwork, not be social workers.
Not all parents are perfect, nor are all teachers, reporters, or politicians.
Children are not adults until they are 18. Until then, you cannot vote, buy lottery tickets, booze or cigarettes, so why should they be able to make life-altering decisions?
I am not against transgender people or gay people.
I don’t care if you paint sidewalks, streets or whatever. Nor do I care if you paint yourself and march up and down any street, but I don’t think it is right to involve children … children are children until they are 18. I hope to read many letters from Les Dunford.
Can you be 100 per cent sure that puberty blockers will not have advice effects, or is it more money in the pockets of the pharmacists?
