To the Editor:
As goes the chaos in our neighbour to the south, so it goes in our country governed by Justin Trudeau's Liberals.
This nation was left as a legacy for all Canadians, with God's name written across the cornerstones of the Peace Tower of our Parliament buildings and our coat of arms.
We are here now in this troubling condition because the Christian church failed to be a catalyzing voice shaping Canada, with God's principles and laws as past generations had.
With upwards of 15 million illegal immigrants pouring across the USA's southern border, how many of these do we think are now also in Canada?
Some of our churches of today are growing increasingly uncomfortable with trying to serve two masters, especially when the government is now clearly taking positions on morality that violate scriptural truth. We have the killing of full-term babies in Canada as well as moving towards offering MAID (medical assistance in dying) to the mentally and physically ill as a solution to their problems.
I believe the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - the God who is truth and justice - is offended by the state of affairs in Canada.
