Janet Brade Thompson
It is with sadness that the family of Janet Brade Thompson of Barrhead Alberta announce her passing on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023 from of Dermatomyositis, Scleroderma and Congestive Heart Failure.
Skilled hair stylist to many, manager in business, and the matriarch to her family. Janet was a loving mother and grandmother, as well as a dear friend to so many. She was mischievously funny right up to her last day on earth. Janet died peacefully surrounded by her family.
Janet leaves behind her loving husband Wilmer Thompson of 54 years. Sons, Shane (Amanda) Thompson, Clinton (Debbie) Thompson, grandchildren Mariah Lansing - Thompson, Cy Thompson, and Sullivan Thompson. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was predeceased by her parents Gus and Lottie Brade, siblings Grace, Leon, Richard, and Gary.
The Funeral will be held at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, 5410 53 Ave, Barrhead Alberta at 11:00 am on Friday, December 22, 2023.
