Ken Rouleau

April 11, 1938 - November 12, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Rouleau announce his passing on November 12, 2024. Kenny joins those who went before him: his parents Sam and Gladys; his brothers, Bob and Ron; and brother-in-law Rick.

Kenny was born in Grande Prairie and raised in Demmitt, AB and Edmonton. He retired from the Forestry industry as Brakeman Foreman in B.C. Previously, he worked at the Fort McMurray Oilsands in the Pilot Plant and in the first Oilsands Commercial Plant. Kenny loved the outdoors, fishing (on his fishing boat), hiking and canoeing. He made friends wherever he went and kept in touch with many as he got older. In a family of seven children, he was the most kind and generous.

Kenny will be lovingly remembered and missed by brothers Don and Rick; sisters Sylvia and Diane (Ed), nephews, nieces, many other relatives and friends.

There will be a private family burial; and a celebration of Ken’s life later in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken’s name to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
