Eugenie “Jean” Litke
November 22, 1928 – September 13, 2023
Jean passed away peacefully in Westlock, Alberta on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the young age of 94.
She is survived by her children, Judy & Ken Balaneski, Ronald Litke, Juan & Kevin Austin as well as her 7 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren. Jean leaves behind her siblings Renate, Lothar & Herta.
Predeceased by her husband Gus, son Duane and her granddaughter, Tina-Marie, parents, Eduard & Hulda Liedtke and brothers, Art, Oscar & Edward.
The Funeral service will be held at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Barrhead, Alberta on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Ben Wyatt officiating and interment to follow at the church cemetery.
