Eleanor passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 20th, 2020 at the age of 98. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Margaret "Maggie" (Carrel) Card, by her son Walter Hammermeister; 3 grandchildren Dean (Kim) Card, Darren (Charity) Card, Steven Hammermeister; 4 great grandchildren Madeline Rea (Calin), Ty Card (Erin), Kellie Card (Jonathan) and Hunter Card; 3 great great grandchildren, Rhyan Rea, Alice Cloutier and Vayda Kapicki; sister-in-law Erna Hammermeister, brothers-in-law Rubin, Herman and Stanley Hammermeister; step sister-in-law Helen Radke, step brother-in-law Reinhold Gatzke, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Ted Hammermeister on January 1, 1984 and her parents Jestine & Adolph Schwab. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westlock Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Rick Chappell officiating with interment in the Hazel Bluff Cemetery.
