Mr. Erwin Sonnenberg, of Barrhead, AB arrived at his Heavenly Home on December 20, 2019, at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving family; three children; Sherilyn Sonnenberg of Edmonton, AB; Colleen (Daniel) Durocher of Morinville, AB, and Sheldon (Kirstan) Sonnenberg of Barrhead, AB; two grandchildren; Matthew and Shaelyn Durocher; siblings; Ron (Edith) Sonnenberg, Herta (Erwin) Fehlauer, Fred (Selma) Sonnenberg, Elsie (Arnold) Radatz, Hugo (Chris) Sonnenberg, and Irma (Gordon) Glesman as well as numerous family and many dear friends. Erwin is predeceased by his loving parents, Gustav and Susanne Sonnenberg; siblings; Bernard Sonnenberg, Marie Sonnenberg, Margret (Gustav) Kruger, former wife and friend Evelyn Barr. A Celebration of Life Service was held on December 27, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Pentecostal Church 5410 53 Ave. Barrhead, AB.
