It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that
Alice (Petruchik) Ernst of Westlock passed
away July 18, 2023 at the young age of 91.
Alice is survived by her loving daughter;
Delores (Alex) McRae of Westlock, her
son; Norman Ernst, grandkids, Gordon (Becca),
Crystal, Bethany, Danielle, Aaron, Brian, and William,
great and great great grandkids, brother; Frank (Rose)
Petruchik of Barrhead, bothers-in-law; Ernest
Ernst of Westlock, Clarance (Phylis) Ernst of
Barrhead, and Edward Ernst of Calgary. She was
predeceased by the love of her life Albert Ernst,
her sisters; Kay Nowlan, Mary Dilworth, brother;
George Petruchik, and parents George and Lucy
Petruchik. She is also survived by her many
friends and extended family. As per her wishes
there will be no funeral service. We as a family
would like to say a big thank you to the staff at the
continuing care in Athabasca and to bothWeslock
and Athabasca hospitals. We would also like to
thank Dr. Da Cunha and all the other doctors that
have touched Alice’s life. Donations can be made
to any charities of your choosing.
